Setco Automotive (UK) Ltd., (The Company), is committed to the prevention of work related injury and ill health arising from its business activities. The Company endeavours to achieve this through the promotion of a safe and healthy working culture and through the provision of safe and healthy working conditions. To this end the company has established the following Health and Safety Policy, for which top management shall take overall responsibility and accountability.

It is the Company’s Policy to:-

  • To take all reasonably practicable steps to eliminate hazards from its business operations, in order to reduce occupational health and safety risks to a minimum level.
  • To comply, as a minimum, with all applicable legal requirements and with the requirements of other interested parties that are relevant to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System of the Company.
  • To implement and evaluate occupational health and safety objectives, in the form of Key Performance Indicators, in order to drive continual improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • To ensure that employees and their representatives are consulted and encouraged to participate actively in all elements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, including its development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement.

This policy will be reviewed periodically (at least annually) to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate and compatible with the strategic direction of the Company.
